Frequently Asked Questions

1How does the daily rate work?
Daily rates are based on a 24 hour period. If the car is handed over at 10am Monday, then Tuesday 10am is the daily rate. If the vehicle is not returned on time there will be a an additional charge of XCD $30 per hour. However, if the car is available and an extension is required this can be arranged at no additional surcharge beyond our rates.
2Are the vehicles fully insured?
Yes, we have fully comprehensive insurance on all our vehicles. If you are responsible for damage to the vehicle or an accident where you are at fault your excess may be up to XCD $3,500.
3Can I add an additional driver to the booking?
Yes, the additional driver must be at least 21 years old, have held a current license for their resident country at least 2 years and obtain a temporary Grenadian Drivers Permit. The cost is XCD $150 per driver.
4Returning the vehicle
Before each vehicle is hired it will be cleaned and handed over with a full tank of petrol. Please return the vehicle in the same condition as you received it. Otherwise you may be subject to additional fees. We appreciate you would want to enjoy the islands beaches, waterfalls etc. But if the car does get extremely messy, the island has many new car wash companies, if you want a list feel free to send us a message.
5Can I smoke in the car?
NO. All our vehicles are no smoking. If the car is retuned with any odour or damage this will be classed as abuse and could result in unlimited fees to correct the vehicle.
6What is the cancellation policy?
We understand things can happen, bookings cancelled 72 hours or more before the agreed start date benefit from FREE cancellation. However, if you cancel less than 72 hours before your proposed booking you will be subject to a XCD $130 daily fee as per your contract duration.
7What is the daily mileage allowance?
Unlimited. You can use the vehicle as much as you like.
8I already have a full driving license in my country. Do I still need a Visitor Driver's (Temporary) Licence?
YES. Everyone visiting Grenada needs to obtain a visitor driver's temporary licence. This can be obtained from the main Police Station in St George, ask for Traffic Department. It costs XCD $60 and valid for 3 months.
9Prohibited Use & Driver Conduct
It is prohibited to smoke and/or bring/consume any illegal substances in the car. Damage caused will result in fees equal to repairs to correct the damage. Driving not in accordance with the law is an offence. Be mindful of bringing sand, lotions, dyes or similar such properties into the car as they can stain or be difficult to clean.
10What happens if I have an accident or mechanical problems?
We hope you enjoy a trouble free experience but being prepared for the unexpected is always advisable. If you are involved in any accident, keep calm, exchange details with any third party (report to Police if necessary), take pictures and gather any evidence and call us. If you do experience any mechanical issues whilst driving, please report it to us as soon as possible. We will offer you the best advice with regards to using the vehicle safely. Do not get any work done(mechanical/bodywork or otherwise) without getting permission from us first. This is very important, unauthorised repairs will be considered a breach of your rental agreement and you will be liable for any corrective work that needs to be undertaken.
11Do we provide baby/child seats?
Currently there is no specific laws mandating the use of child seats in Grenada therefore, we do not provide any.
12Can my rental car be delivered to any location?
We are very flexible, we a can arrange to deliver the car to your Hotel, Airbnb, Restaurant etc. You can reach out and we will do our best to cater to your requirements.
13Can I rent a car without a Credit/Debit Card?
Yes, you can pay for the rental period in cash. However, your deposit must be secured via a credit or debit card.
14Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. The deposit is XCD $500 (approx. USD $185/£135 GBP - subject to exchange rate fluctuations) and this is payable via a secure link. We hold this amount to secure the booking, it is also used in case you incur any incidentals. However, if the car is returned in the same condition, the deposit is refunded straight back to the card.
15When will my booking be confirmed?
As soon as deposit has been taken, you will be sent a confirmation email and your dates will be secured.
